CYNK Marketplace Testnet
Participation qualification and instructions
CYNK Protocol Testnet is dedicated for CYNK Marketplace, including the Decentralized Exchange (DEX), which is also known as Swap. With CYNK Swap, users have permission-less access to trade high quality climate assets such as carbon credits and more.
To qualify as a participant in CYNK Testnet, you should meet the following criteria:
- 1.Blockchain experience: Participants should have a basic understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized exchanges, and tokenized assets. Ideally, users should have previous experience with blockchain networks.
- 2.Interest in climate and fighting climate change: As CYNK focuses on tokenized climate assets, participants should ideally have a keen interest in or knowledge of this field.
- 3.Testnet engagement: Users should be committed to actively engaging with the Testnet. This includes not just using the system, but reporting any bugs, vulnerabilities, or user interface issues that they discover.
Here are the general steps you would typically follow to participate in the Testnet for CYNK DEX:
If you do not have a wallet, please start from here. If you already have a wallet, please start from Step 2.
- 1.Set Up a Wallet:
a. Install Metamask: Metamask is a popular browser extension that serves as a digital wallet for managing cryptocurrencies. To set up a wallet using Metamask, follow these steps:
- Open your preferred browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Brave) and go to the Metamask website.
- Click on the "Get Chrome Extension" (or the appropriate button for your browser).
- Follow the installation prompts to add Metamask to your browser.
b. Create a Metamask Account:
- Once installed, click on the Metamask extension in your browser's toolbar.
- Choose the option to "Create a Wallet" and follow the instructions provided.
- Set a strong password and securely store your seed phrase (a series of 12 or 24 words) in a safe place. This seed phrase is crucial for wallet recovery, so do not share it with anyone.
- 2.Connect Metamask to the Testnet:
a. Open Metamask: Click on the Metamask extension in your browser's toolbar.
b. Select Network: By default, Metamask connects to the Ethereum Mainnet. Cynk use BSC testnet. Please switch to BSC testnet:
- Click on the network dropdown (usually displaying "Main Ethereum Network").
- Choose the BSC testnet.
- Confirm your selection.
- 3.Obtain Testnet Tokens:
a. BSC Faucet: Claim your gas fee from BNB Smart Chain Faucet. You can click on "BSC Faucet" to be redirected to BSC Faucet page, where you can follow the instruction and claim BNB test tokens. Often, you'll need to provide your testnet address (found in Metamask) to receive the tokens.
b. Acquire CYNK Demo Tokens: CYNK provides users with demo tokens through the faucet. Please click on "claim test asset" to receive testnet tokens.
- 4.Start Trading:
Begin trading tokenized climate assets on the CYNK Marketplace Testnet. Remember, these transactions are not real - they are for testing purposes only.
- 5.Report Issues (optional):
Use the platform's bug reporting system to communicate any issues that you encounter. These could include functional bugs, usability concerns, or ideas for improvement.
